Ocean Matching Game

 

Summer is finally here! That means a lot of little ones are home for the summer and others are gearing up for the start of summer school. Ocean and under the sea are popular themes for summer activities. Using a small stash of ocean animal figurines I created an easy matching game that can be an independent task or a turn taking activity. To create this easy activity, all I really had to do was take a picture of each figurine. For a little more of a challenge, kids could also do a non-identical match to pictures that you find online. It would also be fun to incorporate the ocean animal figurines into a summer sensory bin!
